This is the story of Mo, a double dog cart, No. 261 of a number of cars built by the Mo-Car Syndicate formed between Sir William Arrol and Mr George Johnston in 1898, and which bear the name Arrol-Johnston. It was built in October 1902 which is stamped on its cylinder block, and it looks splendid in its varnished oak woodwork, brass fittings and leather upholstery with solid rubber tyres. It has been in the possession of one family since 1903. The story is told from the car's perspective. The first all British motor car, it has been through some amazing adventures during its long life and made lots of local appearances such as the annual Victoria Week in Ballater, Her Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, classic car cavalcades and several TV programmes.
