Hardcover in publisher's original blue cloth with gilt title and small motifs to front cover. At some stage in its past life, this book has undergone a repair to the top of the spine which is apparent on the external hinge of the front cover. The internal hinges have been repaired with a similar paper to the original end papers but the text block is slightly offset. Some slight fading and marking to the covers and gilt but otherwise in Good+ condition. First edition with a signed dedication from the author, pp 237, 39 plates including: Dispensation from Australian Social Lodge No. 260, Photos of Auckland in 1844 and 1908, Photo of Princes Street including Royal Hotel, Masonic Hotel and Free Mason Hall, Minutes with old seal, Toast of Masonic Banquet, Princes Street with Masonic Hall, Facsimile of Foundation scroll + 31 portraits of various members of the lodge (please email if you have any questions regarding portraits), appendix including a full list of original members as well as various other rolls of members.
